PAST
LIFE EXISTENCES
Inspirationally

Many of those who are interested in reincarnation,
tend to be curious of who they may have been or have done in a past life or lives.
However, the wisdom of the Divine Laws provides that this be hidden in general
from us so we can more fully concentrate our efforts on our current life. Do we
really want to be ashamed of any wrongful acts?
If only there was some evidentiary proof,
then we could believe in reincarnation, right? Yet, there has been thousands of
evidentiary information collected by Dr. Ian Stevenson, a pioneer in the study
of persons (many of children) who had specific past life memories of which he compiled
in his many books. An interesting website is at: http://www.neardeath.com/reincarnation/research/ian-stevenson.html
Dr. Tucker continues his work at the same University
of Virginia in the Division of Perceptual Studies. He wrote a book published in
2013 entitled Return to Life –
Extraordinary cases of children who remember past lives.
Other authors who have published numerous books
on the same topic are: Carol Bowman, Brian Weiss, Michael Newton, and numerous
others. They mostly involve past life regression and the majority are by psychiatrists,
psychologists and academics.
As for me, the information I received via spirit
communications on my past lives, was mostly NOT pleasant, yet insightful in
understanding why I had gone through various experiences, the type of work I
have done and do, and why particular people have been in my life.
Another way to try to discover what type of
person you may have been in past lives, is to examine the types of trials,
tests and good things you have experienced in your current life. Notice carefully
certain trends, patterns or similarities
in the types of sufferings, trials or
tests. Examine your vocations, interests,
and certain important events you have gone through. These can give you to
some extent an indication as to how you were or what you may have done in a past
life or lives.
We all suffer, and many people find it very
difficult to fathom they will have to return again and again in order to
progress. But, we only suffer (especially when no reason is found for it in
this life) the effect of causes of our own choices, some in previous existence(s)
due to our selfish and/or possibly hateful or vengeful acts. My father always said,
“We all have blood on our hands.” Indeed, our world history is full of
bloodshed.
Study your moral weaknesses, and the trials
and tests you have undergone – therein lie your clues.
VIOLENCE
– A SPIRITIST PERSPECTIVE
“There isn’t within
Spiritism, rigorously in its body of doctrine a criminological principle that
can explain the origin of violence. It is true, though that cardinal theses
essentially affect, inevitably, some theories of criminology and social psychology.
One of them, for example, is that of being born a criminal. Spiritist
philosophy asserts that the criminal predisposition, or disposition for a
violent act, comes from the spirit,
and not from the glands or from the instinctive condition of the individual,
which would reveal a condition of imperfection of the Creator.”
What science sees
as a deformation of a purely constitutional [organic/biological/physical] order
or as a primordial instinct of man, or even as an eminently cultural learning
or inheritance, Spiritist science understands it by another prism because it
takes into account, above all else, the “spiritual antecedents.” That is, the set of dispositions and
tendencies of the spirit…
Spiritism does not fail to consider the actions taken by the glands or social and instinctive pressures of the individual. In the meantime, what it argues is that none of these factors has an absolute predominance because the greater or lesser propensity for violence depends, mainly, on the degree of backwardness or advancement of the spirit. The germ of criminality or violence is related to the moral state of the spirit.
In the first
place, because all its [Spiritism] philosophical-moral structure starts from
the premise of the responsibility of the individual for his own acts and
because the subordination of the individual, the influences of the organism and
of social conditions are dependent on moral evolution [accomplished] by him...
Spiritism,
however, possesses, as one of its doctrinal foundations, free-will, when we can
see in practice, individuals that get through the reason of their spiritual
development, to overcome their own physical inhibitions and resist the
pressures of the environment where they live, without fleeing from the
experiences of the world…
Thus, the
Spiritist Doctrine understands a violent person as a spiritual patient and not as a product of social milieu or as
the result of a hereditary degenerative [condition], and still less, as a being
created with destructive instincts, from which he cannot flee…”
The most
important therapy is prevention…
The spiritually
renewed man must invest against the torment of violence through his
restructuring of society, seeking to suppress social injustice, fighting
against all situations that foment economic misery that instigates the
pernicious environment that now supports it; fighting, above all, pride,
selfishness and indifference present in every one's heart...
In this vision,
mankind will understand that no one can be ignored knowing that every tribute
of love, such as of patience and the fruit of Light, knowledge, are valuable
treasures for the future in acquisition of a much-desired peace...

EDITORIAL COMMENT –
This article says
the origin of a person’s violent nature lies with the moral level of the
individual’s SPIRIT. That being
said, I affirm that after innumerable reincarnations all people/spirits progress,
slowly losing this trait, and also, a violent nature can diminish even in one
lifetime, and there are examples of this. -

INVISIBLE ENEMIES
Inspirationally
received
by Yvonne C. Limoges
Whether in this
life or in past lives, when we have made strong enemies of someone, many of
these (after they return to the spirit world) still carry a grudge, still have hatred,
and some want revenge.
By the law of
cause and effect and if permitted by the superior spirits, these vengeful spirits
find us in the material world. They can cause minor or major disturbances in
our present lives. They can influence our thoughts so as to encourage us into
wrongful words and acts, causing us and those around us to be in unrest, conflict,
distress and even suffer morally and/or physically. They can read our innermost
thoughts and know our moral weaknesses and use these against us. Spirit
obsession, is the worst consequence.
Some come to us
in our dreams which then become nightmares. I have seen cases of people waking
up (some trance-like) screaming, and others, who have said they felt they have
been assaulted (in different ways) in their sleep. Later, at spirit sessions,
these spirits are brought (many times unwillingly, such is the moral authority
and spiritual power of good spirits) so they may have their say, which then verifies
their ill will and that they have been the cause of such disturbances. They are
then taken away by the good spirits, to receive moral instruction and
rehabilitation.
That is why it is
so important to strive to be as good a person as one can, so wrongful spirit influences
do not take ahold of us. Also, every day, we should project sincere thought and
prayer to reach out to the good spirits, asking for their protection so they can
surround us with their beneficial influences. Like attracts like.
So, if we have
offended someone, apologize and make amends. Pray for them! Try hard to leave
earth without making any enemies.
CHOICES
HAVE CONSEQUENCES
Written by Julie L. Harper
All conditions are temporary...
and how you perceive circumstances is how
you endure them. Self-pity, victimization, or other disheartened sentiments
lead to suffering.
But everything is transitional, and that
which gains focus grows - - choose wisely!
Thoughts, actions, and experiences are
fleeting, but their results can be meaningful and impacting.
May you always show kindness to others by
examples of loving conduct that influence its likeness.
And may you be of the blessings you seek,
as that which you are, comes back unto you.
LOVED
ONES WHO LEAVE US EARLY
Spirit
message received by Yvonne C. Limoges
Whether by unforeseen accidents, illnesses,
the result of addictions, sudden violence, military service or by suicide…so
many of our loved ones, who we hold so very dear, and whose whole life was still
ahead of them, leave this Earth while so very young. And, it seems that our unending
tears and affectionate memories seem to bring no relief to our broken hearts.
However, God has allowed them to be
liberated before us from this world of sorrows, and we must always keep in mind
that the Divine Plans are perfect; each of us have a set time upon the Earth.
Please know your loved ones can see you,
and some of you may be able to feel them! Please try to have strong faith and
be calm, so they can be more at peace. Your consolation is, you will meet again,
for our spirits and the love between you and them, never dies!
SIMPLY A FRIEND

They do not need
to be a man or woman, only a human being, but that they have feelings; that
they have heart.
They need to know how to speak, and know to be quiet, and most of all to know how to listen.
To like poetry, the dawn, the birds, the sun, the Light, the singing of the wind and the song of the breeze.

To like the
deserted street, rain drops, wet roads, the grass after a rain and to rest in a
meadow.
To have love; have a great love for someone, or feel the lack of not having that love.
To love our fellow beings; and, to respect the pain all people carry within them.
To keep a secret without making a sacrifice…
They must have principles, and a fear of losing them, for the great emptiness that it leaves…

To feel sorry for
the melancholy, and understand the immense emptiness of the lonely.
Looking for a friend who taps us on the shoulder, whether smiling or crying, but calls us friend.

WE
ARE ALL HUMAN BEINGS!
Written by Yvonne Crespo Limoges
When you observe, think about or interact with
other people who do not have the same beliefs, political leanings, wealth,
education, ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, looks, etc. as we do, we
should try hard to remember we are ALL human beings. In that aspect, we are ALL
the same. We are all God’s creations!
We all need the basic necessities of life:
sufficient healthy food, clean water, and safe decent shelter in order to live
productive lives. We also all need
medical care to prevent illness and when we get sick. All people need
these things.
We all get sad, lonely, cry, suffer, smile,
laugh, love, have hope and dreams, and we all want good things for us and whom
we love.
Finally, we all want some peace and some happiness
as much as possible, in our lives and in our world.
If we could each see the “human being” part
first, before any differences, humankind might be more civil, respectful, tolerant,
kind, compassionate and just with each other… May God help us!
